How do I obtain a Personal Protection Order (PPO)?

Applications for PPOs in Lapeer County must be filed in the Lapeer County Circuit Court, which is located on the second floor of the Lapeer County Complex Building. I have suffered a financial loss as a result of a crime. What do I do?

In addition, Michigan law requires criminal defendant’s to pay restitution for property damage and or loss which occurs as the result of a crime.
